Congratulations on your participation!

OC Basler Bruggelauf

Welcome to the 13. Basler Bruggelauf – this year featuring a team relay (“Ekiden”) for the first time!

The Basler Bruggelauf (“Brugge” is the Swiss German word for “bridge”) is one of the most traditional runs in the Basel tripoint area. Bruggelauf creator and long-time organizer Andy Werdenberg handed over the baton to us at the Laufsportverein Basel, and we’re more than excited to continue and expand the tradition!

Join us on Sunday, August 26, 2018, for the Basler Bruggelauf over 10 miles. Or team up with some friends to do the 20k team relay (Ekiden).

We’re looking forward to seeing you in August!

Bruggelauf

The traditional Basler Bruggelauf starts in the heart of Basel’s old town. All five bridges over the Rhine are crossed at least once during the demanding 10 miles, which take you to vibrant Kleinbasel, riverside parks, historic districts and world-famous buildings. This unique course provides a perfect background to some fast running!

Runners are ranked in the age and gender categories listed below. Please note that there is a running time cap of 2 hours. At all times, follow instructions given by Bruggelauf staff and stewards.
